Sifu is moving the school into bold new directions. Instead of focusing exclusively on Chinese Martial Arts, he will now be incorporating other kinds of training (such as Balintawak). As a result he is adding a new branch to the school:
Integrated Combat Training Center
I. C. T. C.
How does this affect me?
Classes all remain as is. Sifu is adding new classes to the roster for the ICTC program. The ITP courses are being renamed ICTC. In some classes there may be more emphasis on real-world skills.
What about Tai Chi?
The Tai Chi group is an extremely important, necessary part of our school. There is no change at all. It will exist under the umbrella of CMAA just as it always has. However, Sifu has decided to give the Tai Chi group its own identity based on his given Chinese name:
Lau Hua Hu Mountain Tai Chi
(streLAU, HUA=Spiritual, HU=Tiger)
Is there a new logo?
We do have a cool new logo along with new Tshirts, sweatshirts and so forth. The new logo will be inserted into the banner of this website shortly.
Is there a new location?
Yes indeed. Sifu has leased a big new space in a shopping center on Bakerview, west of Barnes and Noble. The shopping center has Woods Coffee as well a several small restaurants and stores.
